Datum Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Datum collects, how we use it, and how to contact us.
Effective date: May 30, 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, email, company, phone number, role, project context, business process details, questionnaire answers, scheduling details, Discord verification details, and messages submitted through forms, email, checkout, scheduling, calls, or community onboarding.
2. Payments and Scheduling
Payments are processed by Stripe. Datum does not store full card numbers. Stripe may collect payment details, billing information, fraud-prevention signals, device data, and transaction information according to Stripe's own terms and privacy policy.
Scheduling for Discovery Calls and Private Training may be handled through Calendly. Calendly may process meeting details such as your name, email address, timezone, selected time, booking responses, calendar details, and meeting metadata according to Calendly's own privacy notice.
3. Cookies, Site Data, and Measurement
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your privacy choices, maintain security, support checkout and requested services, understand site usage, measure marketing performance, and, where enabled, show or measure relevant ads.
Our site and service providers may collect basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring page, timestamps, checkout starts, source parameters such as UTM tags, and ad-click identifiers. Essential site functions may run without optional consent so pages, security, checkout, scheduling, and requested services work.
We use a first-party cookie or similar storage to remember your cookie and privacy choices. This is necessary to honor your preferences. Optional analytics, company-visitor identification, and advertising measurement are controlled by the privacy choices on this site. Until you allow them, Datum does not intentionally load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar optional measurement tags through the public site. Leadfeeder's company-visitor script may load in consent-management mode to identify visiting companies without setting its returning-visitor cookie until analytics consent is granted.
4. Advertising, Retargeting, and Audience Use
With your consent where required, Datum may use advertising or measurement tools from Google, Meta, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Leadfeeder, or similar providers. These tools may collect information about your browser, device, pages viewed, actions taken, referral URLs, ad-click identifiers, approximate location, and campaign source so Datum can measure conversions, build remarketing or retargeting audiences, understand campaign quality, and improve advertising.
Where allowed by platform rules and applicable law, Datum may use first-party information you provide, such as form submissions, checkout details, scheduling details, or direct inquiries, to create or sync advertising audiences. This may include hashed contact information, such as an email address or phone number, to help advertising platforms match Datum's first-party contacts to platform users. Hashing helps protect the information in transit, but Datum still treats hashed contact data as personal information.
Datum does not sell personal information for money. Some privacy laws may define certain advertising, analytics, remarketing, retargeting, or audience-sharing activities as a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising." Datum does not plan to use purchased, rented, appended, or third-party customer lists for advertising audiences.
Please do not submit regulated, confidential, or highly sensitive personal information through ordinary forms, checkout, Calendly, Discord, or email unless we have agreed on an appropriate handling method in writing. Datum does not intentionally place advertising pixels on pages designed to collect sensitive personal information.
5. How We Use Information
We use information to respond to inquiries, deliver services, run cohorts or memberships, process payments, schedule calls or training, provide Discord onboarding, improve the site, prepare prompt and workflow deliverables, honor privacy choices, measure marketing performance where allowed, protect against abuse, and maintain business records.
6. How We Share Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Datum, including hosting, forms, payment processing, scheduling, Discord onboarding, email, analytics, advertising measurement, project management, AI tools, and cloud storage. We may also share information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or with your direction.
7. AI Tools and Project Materials
When you ask Datum to build prompts, workflows, or automations, project materials may be processed through AI and software tools needed to perform the work. Do not send regulated, confidential, or sensitive personal information unless we have agreed on an appropriate handling method in writing.
8. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and improve Datum materials. You can ask us to delete or correct information, subject to business, legal, and backup retention needs.
9. Your Choices
You can use the site's privacy controls to accept, reject, or manage optional analytics and advertising measurement. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Datum treats optional analytics and advertising measurement as off for that browser and, where required by applicable law, treats the signal as an opt-out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Datum does not respond to legacy browser Do Not Track signals separately from Global Privacy Control.
You can also use browser settings to block or delete cookies and use advertising platform controls such as Google My Ad Center, Meta ad settings, LinkedIn ad settings, and industry opt-out tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.
Depending on where you live and which privacy laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, or opt-out of certain advertising uses of personal information. You can contact us to make a request. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails using the instructions in those emails or by contacting us.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure. Please do not send passwords, bank credentials, social security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary forms or email.
11. Children
Datum services are intended for adults and businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as Datum changes. The effective date above shows the latest version.
