Door one · Training

Train the people who will build your tools.

A strategy session for your leadership, then a builder intensive for up to seven of your people. They leave with working AI workflows and the practice to keep building.

Two formats

Leadership first. Then the builders.

Most firms start with the strategy session and follow with the intensive. Some start with the intensive because they already know who their builders are. Both are taught by the people who built KBF's tools.

Format one

Strategy session

For leadership and the people you might name as builders. About two and a half hours, including the discussion at the end. We tailor it to your company from what we learn in the conversation.

  • The foundations, in the language of your trade, not a vendor's.
  • A live demonstration of software we run our own firm on.
  • What software and workflows fit your company, and which do not.
  • The path to your own internal builders, and who they should be.
  • A tailored deck and a short recap of the agreed next step.
Format two

Builder intensive

For up to seven people who will own the work. Two or three days of five-hour working sessions, usually in person on consecutive days, anywhere in the United States.

  • Kit and preflight: accounts, tools, and your source records ready before day one.
  • Grounded workflows: AI given your real context, with a person reviewing before anything touches a client.
  • Engineering practice: plan, specify, build, verify, maintain.
  • Independent checks: each builder demonstrates the agreed tasks on their own, without help.
  • Your leadership opens the first session. We close with a handoff measured against the scope we agreed on.

One fixed price per engagement, quoted after we talk. It includes the AI compute and tools we use for your work. If we come to you, travel is one flat fee, quoted with it.

What your people leave with

Working tools, and the habit of building the next one.

The same method we used at KBF.

Our lead designer spent 7 hours per project writing scopes. We built a workflow around it in a week and her time fell to about 30 minutes. Your builders learn to find that task in your company and do the same thing, with a person reviewing every draft.

  • Ground AI in your company: voice, services, records, and constraints, so it stops answering generically.
  • Choose the right targets: the admin drag AI can take now, and the high-risk work to keep away from it.
  • Set up the real tools: Claude and Claude Code, ChatGPT and Codex, and the connectors around them.
  • Write prompts that work, turn them into repeatable patterns, and schedule AI work that runs without you.
  • Verify: where a person approves, what gets logged, and what to do when the tool is wrong.
Fit

Who this is for, and who it is not.

Training develops your people. It does not deliver a finished application, and we will not pretend fifteen hours can.

A good fit

  • You can name one to seven people who will own AI workflows afterward.
  • Leadership will sit in the room for the strategy session.
  • You can get accounts and source records ready before day one.
  • You want tools that run on your accounts and stay yours.

Not a fit

  • You want an app delivered with nobody inside to own it.
  • You want AI to price jobs or send client commitments without a person reviewing.
  • Nobody on the team can give the intensive two full days.
Questions

Before you book.

Who should attend?

Leadership attends the strategy session. The intensive is for up to seven people who will own AI workflows inside the company afterward. No coding background is required. They need to know the work.

What does it cost?

One fixed price per engagement, quoted after a conversation. It includes the AI compute and tools we use for your work. When we come to you, travel is one flat fee quoted with it.

Will we have a finished application afterward?

No. The intensive develops the people. They leave with working workflows, the practice to keep building, and a handoff evaluated against the agreed scope. A finished production application is not promised in two or three days. If you want a working system to start from, see your own software.

In person or remote?

The intensive is usually in person on consecutive days, anywhere in the United States. The strategy session can be on site or remote.

What do we need ready?

Your accounts and the source records we agree on, one business day before the first session. We send a preflight list after the conversation.

Start with a conversation.

Thirty minutes with Adam, weekday evenings, Eastern time. Bring the task that eats your week.
